What do we do

Objectives:

  • Develop GLP-compatible processes for bioproduction and characterisation of extracellular vesicles.
  • Optimize, standardize and create existing and new bioproduction methods for organoid cultures.
  • Guarantee reproducibility and transfer to industry.
  • Implement high-resolution quality control (QC).
  • Participate in the development of biotherapies based on extra-cellular vesicles and organoids.

Missions:

  • Provide access to state-of-the-art equipment and expertise in the bioproduction of organoids and extracellular vesicles.
  • Provide an environment that fosters the development of GLP-compliant biomanufacturing processes.
  • Create a meeting place for academics and industry to stimulate innovation and support start-ups
  • Create biobanks of organoids derived from healthy cells and from patients suffering from various diseases (inflammation, cancer, rare diseases, etc.).
  • Set up national and/or international partnerships involving start-ups, biotechs and pharmaceutical companies.
